We take care of your pets 24/7, 365! Monday-Friday, our office is open 7am to 7pm and on weekends 8am to 4pm. Our phones are monitored 8am to 5pm M-F, and most of the weekends. If we miss you, we will always return your call, email, or text ASAP.
Checking in and out:
DAYCARE - M-F. Drop-off times can be reserved after 7am. Daycare begins to wind down around 4:30pm. A Full Day of daycare is approximately 8 hours, a Half Day is 4 hours or less. When making your reservation, an accurate pick-up and drop-off time is appreciated.
BOARDING - You may check in after 1pm and pick up before 12pm. Earlier drop-off and later pick-up times can usually be arranged with an additional $20 day-kenneling addon. Allow enough time when dropping to go over care, vaccination, contact, and agreement details.
Holidays:
Our boarding facility is always open to take care of your pets! Our office is closed over major holidays (Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, etc.) when we do not schedule drops or pickups and daycare is not offered.

Luxury Kennels - These are small private kennels (rooms with 4 solid walls), about the size of the Standard kennels or a little smaller. Appropriate for 1 or 2 small/medium, old, infirm, noise reactive, timid, anti-social dogs. NOT appropriate for most puppies, anxious, large, very social (FOMO) dogs, or those who might scratch at doors or chew on trim.
Nooks - Very large private rooms (4 walls). Appropriate for all sized dogs, usually up to three large dogs. NOT appropriate for puppies who are not potty trained (but a sleeping crate can be put in these rooms), extremely anxious, very social (FOMO) dogs, or those who scratch at doors or chew on trim.
Littles - Reserved as Standard kennels. Appropriate for small dogs under 25 pounds. Kennels are smaller, cozy, and adjacent to a private playroom for little dogs. NOT appropriate for very anxious dogs who do not crate well.
Cats - Standard kennels are 4’ x 4’x 4’ and have multiple levels. They’re equipped with a litter box, food dishes, and soft blankets. Appropriate for 1 - 3 cats. There is one extra large kennel that can house 4 cats.
DAYCARE: During rest periods, dogs are crated in extra large crates or 5’x5’x6’ rest kennels.
Dog Dayz may change kennel assignments if necessary for the happiness of your dog.
What to bring:
BOARDING (dogs) - You can bring size-appropriate beds, blankets, treats, a special toy for their kennel, their food, meds, slow feeder bowls, leash and collar. Do NOT bring cots, crates, bowls (except slow feed), multiple toys, outdoor toys, items that are too special to be accidentally lost or damaged.
Dog Dayz can provide all of the above if you choose not to bring your own. Remember, dogs are often anxious during their first few days of boarding and may chew bedding when they normally would not. We also have fridge and freezer (limited) space for fresh food and peanut butter to administer meds.
BOARDING (cats) - You can bring their food, meds, a crate, blankets. Do NOT bring collar, leash, toys, dishes, litter box (unless with special litter).
DAYCARE: You can bring lunch or snacks and treats if your dog has allergies to house treats.
Vaccinations:
DOGS - Current Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations are required. | CATS - Feline Distemper and Rabies
Intact Dogs and Puppies:
No intact males over 9 months in daycare. Intact males okay in boarding. No females in heat. We recommend daycare for puppies over 6mo old, but we’ll happily discuss younger possibilities.
Tours:
We’d love to show you the place, but unless we’re set up for you, we won’t be able to maneuver through pickups and drops offs, phone calls, office duties, and playgroups. We offer tours by appointment only please, scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 - 3:30pm.
What’s the Montana Way?
We believe Montana dogs (like us) enjoy the outdoors and laid back friendly approach to life. We keep dogs out of their kennels as much as possible and offer hikes, playgroups, enrichment games, private playtime, and special attention with every service - included. In daycare, dogs play most of the day, but rests are necessary every so often. In boarding, in addition to play sessions, dogs go out numerous times throughout the day and night (including a midnight potty with the overnight attendant).
